In September and October, we offer a six week long farm cooking series (click here for registration). Classes run once a week either on Wednesday or Thursday. We'll be getting our hands dirty in the market garden, and then firing up the outdoor earthen oven to create yummy and healthy snacks with our farm's harvest. Our outdoor classroom will give students the opportunity to explore where our food comes from, and to learn basic cooking techniques with produce grown right in our garden. We believe healthy eating habits start from a young age. When we cook together and share in the fruits of our labor we help students build a lifelong foundation for happiness and good health.
During the fall season we offer school-to-farm visits and programming. Guided by inquiry based-learning and focused on hands on activities, workshops explore the natural world and our interconnectedness. Please contact us for details and pricing.
